Family

(The day before we left Maryland! With my niece Hannah and sister Anne who so generously came to help us.)

Sunday we had a large family gathering here at Mom and Dad's: six of the nine kids were here with their families. We're happy to have Dave and Maya visiting us from Pittsburgh (man, do they have a great house & gorgeous setting where they live) for a week. Everyone else is already living here. Again I am so grateful to be here near so many of my family--I truly am.

Dad is better! His O2 levels are up (at least to 94) and he has been getting out and about again. Today he sat outside and watched Lucie run around in her "swimsoup" (her pronunciation) in Grandma's sprinklers. He can also watch slideshows of family pictures on his newly installed digital photo frame above his bed, thanks to Craig. Things are looking up.
