Our last Sunday in Maryland--June 6--we said goodbye to the Severna Park Ward and many wonderful people we've only known a short time. Maggie's best friend, Kyerin Simonds, and her sister Mati are in this ward--we hope we will see them again at some point.
Today our multitalented Laura (who comes 3 days a week to help with Dad) got out her scissors and gave Dad a "Clint Eastwood haircut" (sorry I couldn't get a better "after" picture). He had a pretty good day today and even got a little mischevious when it was time to take his nighttime pills. He opened his mouth obediently and then when the pills would start to go in, he'd clench his teeth and chuckle. We did get them in eventually. I'm glad he seemed happy today.
